Where did the water come from?

Genesis 1:2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. So the earth that was created in the first verse was indeed just dirt, because here it basically says the dirt had no form. So the planet was basically spherical but flat? Perhaps it wasn't yet spherical at all? It was void... so we know nothing grew upon it or covered it. The deep what? The deep by today's standards would be talking about water if I'm correct. But that can't be. the darkness that was upon the face of the deep explains more depth to the void of the earth. If the world was without form... how was there a deep part? What made the darkness? How was the darkness cast? What was lighting up the rest of the place? The Spirit of God? What is that? So God is not a machine as I questioned before. God must be a being to have a spirit. Oh there is the water. See I was right. So the deep is the depths of the water. Again though, how is the earth void and without form, if it had depths, and a blanket of water over it? How does the Spirit of God move upon the face of the waters? Does it walk, skip, glide? Where did the water come from?

In The Beginning

Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. My first question is, in the beginning of what? Is this the beginning of everything? If so where did this God come from? What is God? Is God a being or a machine? If God is a being, is it male or female? How did God create heaven and the earth? What did God create the heaven and the earth from? What is heaven? Is heaven a place, the sky, or outer space? If heaven is a place, where is it located? What is earth? Is earth the planet, or the dirt or something else?
